Summer Camp
On those long, lazy summer days it is all too easy for your child to get stuck in an indoor world of TV and video games. At LCC summer camp we make sure that your child will enjoy a summer filled with adventure, creativity and collaboration. Parents of LCC campers can rest assured that their children are getting the most out of their ample summer free time, in a safe and supportive environment that encourages children to learn new skills.
Get the most out of summer camp with Lewis Children's Center's HEROES Training Camp. Each weekly session will include activities and adventures designed to instill Honesty, Enthusiasm, Responsibility, Optimism, Endurance and Success. Our adventures include tutoring and exploring the Greater Richmond area, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, University of Richmond and swimming. We also offer activities such as community services, music, art and science to foster your child’s creative energy. For a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation possibilities on campgrounds, children have the Villa’s spacious 82 acre campus, as well as the Villa’s Kaboom Playground and gymnasium at their disposal.
Summer Camp takes place in Dooley School which is nestled within St. Joseph Villa located at 8000 Brook Road (Route 1).
